The great weather continues.
Dewpoint temperatures will linger in the mid-60s, leading to some stickiness in the air.
So far, the weather seems uneventful for the remainder of the week:
Wednesday: Cold front moves through. One more day of almost oppressive humidity with a dewpoint of 70°. Could see some rain, but that looks unlikely.
The sun sticks around with us again for Labor Day! We’ll probably stay clear of any showers here in Middle Tennessee, with a bit of an increased rain chance off to our East.
It’ll be a little sticky out as well, dewpoints in the upper 60s-low70s. High of 91° this afternoon.
Looks like we have a great day in store for us.

Saturday 91°.
Sunday 92° but a bit sweaty, mid 60s dewpoints.
Monday 91°, upper 60s dewpoints.
Tuesday & Wednesday 93°, upper 60s dewpoints.

Some nerd is going to tell you tomorrow is the first day of fall, “meteorological fall.” I usually side with meteorology nerds BUT NOT THIS TIME, TREVOR, there is nothing “fall” about September 1. Meteorological Fall is Fake Fall. It’s useful for climate stats but nothing else.
Happy end of the work week everyone! Lots and lots of sun for the rest of today. Temperatures will rise up to near 91° for the high, combining with lower dewpoints in the low 60s to make way for a great evening for some outdoor plans.
Today is one of those days when, after commuting with the windows down, you peer out the office window and wish you were outside! Temps bottomed out at 58° in Nashville early this morning just before the sun came up. With low dewpoints, it was perfect.
As of 8:00 AM CST, it may feel a little chilly thanks to a cold front that moved through earlier this morning.
Above you can see our current temperature (number in red) is 70°F with a dewpoint around 67°F (number in green.)

If you have a case of the “Monday’s” today, the weather certainly isn’t helping out.
Widespread rain and a few thunderstorms are the story for today, especially during the late morning and early afternoon hours. The latest HRRR model shows rain being mostly light, except for a couple areas of heavier rain, and it mostly moving out of the area around 5PM-6PM:
