Believe it or not, weekends CAN be nice! For the first Saturday in three weeks, it’s sunny!

After almost a week of clouds and precipitation, we will see some blue sky today! The precipitation will stay to our southeast. High temperatures today are expected to reach 47º.  Tonight will be chilly as temperatures drop below freezing to 30º. read more

Snow, Sunshine, and Rain All in Forecast for Next Few Days

This is not a drill: it snowed! Everyone has been buzzing about the event, and the trend of snow flurries to light snow showers will continue across the area for much of the day. According to the NWS Nashville Twitter page, their office has received 0.9″ of snow! However, further accumulations cannot be ruled out. read more

Snow is Coming

Rain will develop in West Tennessee early tonight. From there it’ll move into Middle Tennessee. Temps aloft will fall below freezing, transitioning a light rain to a light sleet, then a light snow. Models agree snow will come out of the sky before midnight, tapering off and ending around sunrise. read more

Some Concern About Flooded Roads Overnight, Much Colder Thursday, Low/No Consequence Snow Late Thursday Into Friday Morning

We remain under a Flood Watch through Thursday morning. Creeks are up tonight, especially Mill Creek from Nolensville north to the airport, even Stones River was up earlier near Donelson. More rain is coming through mostly south of I-40 between 9 PM and 10 PM in Will Co which won’t help matters. read more

HRRR model noon Wednesday to midnight Wednesday night

Between 1.25″ and 1.5″ expected through Thursday morning. NWS-Nashville issued an Areal Flood Watch initially for Nashville. Will Co was included in the Watch this morning. read more

Today will be one last day of rain before some relief tomorrow. Be careful driving this morning as some patchy fog is lingering in the area. Wear your rain jacket, too, because the showers will continue to push through the area until this evening.
