The main line of storms will move out of the area this morning and leave us with a mostly cloudy and wet end of our work week. Rain chances diminish in the afternoon, but still hanging around enough to potentially see a small shower or two, but definitely not a washout. We will reach near 81º for the high. Dewpoint values will be in the mid 60s so it is going to be a pretty muggy and sticky one out there this afternoon. This evening will remain mostly dry, still with a chance of seeing a small shower into the overnight hours. Temperatures will drop down to around 64º. read more

Warm and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing, some of which may be strong to severe this afternoon.  Here is what the NWS says:

Shear will be on the weak side since we won`t be dealing with a surface low, but even 30 kts of bulk shear, coupled with around 7.0 deg/km mid-level lapse rates, could provide some isolated strong to severe storms later this afternoon. Nothing widespread, but it will be necessary to keep an eye to the sky if you have outdoor plans this afternoon and early this evening read more

The high pressure is still sitting off to our east, meaning partly sunny weather and a high of 85°. It’ll be breezy with a southwest wind at 15-20 MPH (gusts may even reach 30 MPH). Low temperatures will reach down to 66°. read more

Thursday and Friday

A frontal boundary sets up bringing daily chances for showers and maybe an isolated thunderstorm beginning late Thursday. Severe weather is not expected at this time, but a few strong storms are possible in spots. read more

We anticipate fair weather today with warmer temperatures than we had over the weekend. Our high should reach into the mid 80°s. Cloud cover may increase this afternoon. There was rain out west but models think it’ll dry out before those clouds get here mid-afternoon. read more

Rest of Today and Tonight

We saw beautiful weather this morning for the marathon, and if you ran in it, I applaud you, that takes a lot. Temperatures will climb their way up to 72º this afternoon. We should stay dry for the remainder of today, but clouds will build as we progress into the afternoon, leaving us with mostly cloudy skies by dinner time. Winds will be out of the South at 10-15mph. We are only going to drop into the upper 50s for the low tonight, with a small chance of a stray shower after midnight. read more

Rest of Today and Round 2 of the NFL Draft

The early morning rain has cleared and we are going to stay dry the rest of the day today and into this evening. We’ve got a pleasant afternoon ahead of us with partly cloudy skies in the afternoon and a high of 71º. It’ll be a bit breezy out there today as well, with winds picking up to 15mph, and gusts potentially reaching 25mph. Once the second round of the draft starts tonight, we’ll be near 70º, with temperatures decreasing as the night goes on, down to our overnight low of 46º.  read more

Today we can expect to see mostly sunny skies with a high of 83°.

There is the chance for a shower or two, though they are more likely to pop up in the late afternoon/early evening hours. The HRRR doesn’t show any showers here, but a front boundary (responsible for the potential shower or two) could drop close to the TN/KY state line. I would carry an umbrella just to be on the safe side. Tonight, lows drop to around 61°. read more
