But to our NW another batch of precip is en route, ETA 7-9 PM. Here’s the HRRR model predicting rain with a few snow flurries around midnight:
No meaningful accumulation expected except maybe at the highest elevations. It may not even snow (it could just be rain).
Dry and sunny with a high temperature of 45°. A little chilly, but at least no rain.
Another “clipper system” will streak by after midnight Thursday into early Friday morning. Delivering a quick blast of rain and/or snow flurries. It’s not much.
We’ll steer clear of the rain today. It’ll be mostly cloudy, but the sun will still peak through a few times. Slightly above average temperatures this afternoon and for the high, 57°. A couple showers are possible moving into the evening, but most of us will stay dry tonight.
All in all, not too bad of a day weather wise. There will be plenty of sun to go around this afternoon, although it will be cool. Only up to 43° for the high.
Saturday comes with more sun and a bit warmer temperatures. Closer to average for this time of year, 53° for the high. We’ll continue the short-lived dry trend through Saturday as well.
Up to 51° Wednesday afternoon. No rain. All eyes on Thursday morning when a band of light, cold rain mixed with snow should move in. It will arrive Thursday morning and there will not be much of it. Best rain/snow mix potential is in Will Co but although less likely in Nashville, it’s possible in Nashville. We may not see any precip at all because the system is weak and passing mostly south of us.
