TODAY – Wind Advisory All Day. Severe Weather Tonight. – High: 74°

Overview: We’ve got several things happening today. This morning, we’ve dealt with fog. It’s going to be incredibly windy today – windy enough to have put us under a Wind Advisory. Finally, severe storms remain the forecast for tonight, all thanks to the system below:

Plenty of fog around this morning…enough to warrant a Dense Fog Advisory, but it expired around 8 AM and should be clearing or already have cleared.

At 9 AM, a Wind Advisory went into effect. It’ll last until midnight. read more

I know it doesn’t feel like it today, but overnight, winds will shift. By tomorrow, it’ll be blowing in southerly, warm and humid air.

In fact, those S winds will be quite strong during the day tomorrow outside of the storms. Thus, a wind advisory from our NWS office from 9 AM Tuesday – midnight. read more

Current radar shows showers with some thunderstorms around our area this morning. The heaviest batch of rain is to our east at the moment. The Storm Prediction Center put a pocket of General Thunderstorms in Middle Tennessee for today. Showers should taper off to the east after lunchtime today. No severe weather today. read more

Looks Windy Again. Sustained winds of 17 MPH by mid-afternoon, gusting into the 20s range in the afternoon.

Rainy Night. We think it’ll start raining sometime after dark. May be wet as the game lets out, but we think the steadier rain will arrive later Sunday night. read more

Overnight, we will drop below freezing, but then the winds will turn south and we’ll make it to a sunny 52° on Thursday.

Winds will briefly switch back north as a snowmaker drives by to our north — nothing for us — and drops Friday down to 30° early, 46° in the afternoon. read more
