And in between the moon and you, the angels get a better view of the crumbling difference between models wrong and right.
PREPARE FOR A LITTLE BIT OF DRIZZLE TODAY AND TONIGHT
Layered clouds will keep us near 51° for the high this afternoon.
Drizzle is moving through this afternoon mostly south of I-40, unlikely to create measurable rainfall. Drizzle or a brief light rain shower is possible anywhere in Nashville or Will Co tonight.
PREPARE FOR LIGHT RAIN LATE THIS AFTERNOON/TONIGHT
Timing: mid/late afternoon into the evening.

Confidence is not great. Not totally sure it’ll make it to us but it probably will. Uncertainty courtesy of the Dry Air Monster who gotta eat.
PREPARE FOR WIND
Sustained wind 15 – 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph this morning.
Should last until noon or so, with gusts relaxing this afternoon and tonight.

Worst of the wind is gone, so confidence you’ll get a strong wind gust is low. Kite flying is a good idea this afternoon, you still may squeeze out a decent amount of wind.
The main focus today will be the severe threat off to our west.

The concern for us will be any lingering storms as they move toward us. Wind and heavy rains are what we expect for us here in Middle TN.
Beautiful day ahead to start the work week.

Get outside and enjoy it because this will also be the best day of the week weather-wise.
Two low pressure systems will move through this week and bring us rain, and this first system will move through Tuesday into Wednesday.
Chilly Sunday morning, afternoon high will warm to 54°.
Temperatures just before sunrise Monday will reach 37°, in the afternoon warming up to 63°.
Weather will be dry and skies will be clear.

A cold front extending from the low pressure center will approach with breezy conditions and showers across Middle Tn, mainly Tuesday evening. A rumble of thunder is possible, but we do not expect strong storms.
Current Radar: The rain is moving on out. There could be a few scattered showers. Other than that, we should be drying out for the rest of the day.

Cloud cover should hang out though. Patchy fog will also be possible tonight along commutes as temperatures drop.
Today, due to the extensive cloud cover and scattered showers we only reached high of 54 °.
A chance for some scattered showers will be the story for the remainder of the day and into this evening. The majority of the rain moves in overnight tonight and into Saturday afternoon. The latest HRRR model has it moving in around 3AM-6AM:
