Considering both models, our NWS is going with 20% to 30% chance of rain in the morning. That’s to account for the possibility the NAM4 is correct.

Clouds will increase tonight while the dew point rises, setting the stage for rain, and maybe severe weather, as a cold front approaches Thursday. Our temps will also stay relatively warm through the night only dropping into the 60°s. Winds will stay strong through the night with gusts over 30 mph.

Upper level low pressure is pushing rain into Middle Tennessee. Check out the current radar above, or below:
This rain will probably mix with sleet/flakes. The upper low is bringing its own supercold temps, and making the ice. No worries, though, it’s way too warm at the surface to cause travel problems.

As I write this, scattered rain showers stretch from Bowling Green to McMinnville. These specific showers aren’t moving our way and I don’t think they will impact us.
But, if you look further north, you see the larger picture – an upper level low pressure system – dropping a rain/snow mix across southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and SE Missouri. Check out the current radar above, or below:
