The 12 South Siren Growl; Three Waves of Rain This Week, Last One May Be Strong.

Sometimes they do a “growl” for certain sirens (not a full wail) for testing purposes, but until this morning I was never exactly sure when they might do it.

Sirens are a secondary warning method for those outside. You aren’t guaranteed to hear them. Best to have a wake-me-up app on your phone and a NOAA weather radio in your house. Round 2 Storms Tonight

As of 4 PM, Davidson County (Nashville) remain in the Tornado Watch issued earlier today, set to expire at 5 PM. Williamson County is currently not included. It’s expected this Tornado Watch will expire without anything bad happening. We were on the southern edge of the Watched area, storms prompting the Watch passed to the north earlier this afternoon. read more
