A Nice Day before some Bleh
Today will be fantastic. High around 68°F with a few clouds here and there.

Lots of sun, afternoon highs mid 60s today through Wednesday.
Rain starts sometime during the Thursday morning rush hour.
Then it lingers through Thursday evening.
After midnight Thursday into Friday morning snowflakes may mix in.
Well, it certainly feels like winter as we are beginning our day with temperatures in the 30s.
They’ll warm up today to 51°.
Temperatures tonight will reach a low of 30°, so be sure to bundle up and bring in any sensitive plants as we will see widespread frost again.
Afternoon rain today is winding down, all rain should be gone before dark. No storm worries today, we’re good.
But Thursday October goes out like a total jerk.
At 12:01 AM we’ll reach our high temp for Thursday, low 60s. Temps will gradually drop through the day. 50s when you wake up. Low 40s by lunch. 30s Thursday night.
Below the HRRR model shows rain running off and on until around 5 PM, then a second rain wave starting around 1 AM and lasting into the morning hours of Thursday.
The NAM3 model pretty much agrees with that timing, the first round lasting off and on throughout the day, ending around 5 PM. Then a second round of rain starts back early Thursday morning and lasts to around 1 PM Thursday afternoon.
