Yeah, this was also my experience.

WARNING: Some weather stuff is explained, below. If you don’t care about learning no science and just need your forecast for the next three days, I wholly respect that, here you go:
Today – High 88
For the first full day of summer, it hasn’t been so bad regarding temps or humidity.
(Editor’s Note: Humidity levels decreased this morning. Nice morning on the bicycle).
First Day Of Summer – High 87
Break out the sunblock, sunglasses, cold refreshments, pool time, beach time, and best of all — summer vacation (if you’re lucky enough to have one)!
Today – High 86; Scattered Thunderstorms
There is always a positive side to every situation – the pop up thunderstorm that moved through the area really cooled things off for many of us. Much more pleasant out there if you’re feeling those cooler temps from that thunderstorm.
Today
(Editor’s Note: It’s been a while, so I edited in a haiku)
Dew points have been drop
ping throughout the day, Ahhhh a
little less humid.
No thunderstorms developed here this afternoon. Some boiled over in the Memphis area and in southern middle Tennessee. Tonight will be just fine, with lows in the 60s.
Tonight
Very isolated, hit and miss showers/thunderstorms are possible late tonight. Don’t bet on them, though. Expect lows in the upper 60s, and winds out of the north at 5 mph.
Wednesday – High 88, Chance of an Isolated Thunderstorm
Tonight – High 86, Rain & Thunderstorms
Once these thunderstorms move out, there’s a small chance we could see the a gorgeous sunset and a break from the rain; however, this is unlikely. Satellite at 3:40 p.m.:
Monday – High 89, “It’s [Probably] Gon’ Rain”
Every model gives Middle Tennessee some rain, but it appears most of it is in Southern Middle Tennessee. If you believe the GFS model, then it’s possible we’ll get in our softball game tonight. If you believe the European model, don’t even wash your uniform.
Father’s Day – High 89, More Humid, Afternoon Rain/Storms
Thunderstorm chances increase to 30% for the day (afternoon pop-up) and evening (thanks to a slow-moving cold front).
The HRRR thinks it’ll rain before dark tonight, if not before:
Today – High 85
It was a little warmer than we expected, so Will made me wax 2 vehicles as punishment for not getting it right (Editor’s Note:
…now back to the Intern)…. Other than that, it’s been a wonderful day! Weather tonight will be just as great as today if not better, if you like it nice and cool out. At 10 PM we’ll be at 72, but we will drop into the 60s by 11 PM. Party people, rejoice.
