Monday – High 89, “It’s [Probably] Gon’ Rain”
Every model gives Middle Tennessee some rain, but it appears most of it is in Southern Middle Tennessee. If you believe the GFS model, then it’s possible we’ll get in our softball game tonight. If you believe the European model, don’t even wash your uniform.
Our NWS has given us 70% chance for thunderstorms during the day and night. The best bet is for late afternoon/evening showers. NWS says rain tomorrow after noon is “likely.”
Some of the storms could be strong, but so far the Storm Prediction Center has not outlooked us for any organized severe weather.
Illustrating the soggy Monday is the Hi-Res NAM (Monday 12 PM – Monday 9 PM):
Tuesday – High 86, Lingering Showers & Clearing
Some of the rain may hang on through the morning. The sun should return before the day is over. We will be slightly cooler: 5 mph winds from the northwest.
WPC (Weather Prediction Center) forecast rainfall totals is well over 2″ Sunday 7 AM – Tuesday 7 PM:
