Dewpoints are already over 60° in Middle Tennessee. Temps are rising above 70°. A strong cold front sits out west with its eye on us tonight. The coming collision of cold, dry air slamming into our warm, moist airmass will happen overhead tonight.
It may rain this afternoon as a front moves back and forth over Middle Tennessee today. We may see a few showers pass by (as the above model illustrates), but Williamson and Davidson Counties should be rain-free by sunset. High today: 63º. Low tomorrow morning: 57º.
Clouds will gather tonight, forming light rain in the morning. Shortly before lunch, some of the rain may be heavy, at least that’s according to the HRRR model:
A few more showers are possible through the day Monday. It may be enough rain to rain out Monday night games. That will depend on the field.

High pressure moved into our area yesterday, breaking up the clouds, but now that is moving on to the east. The advancing clouds are west of us, as seen via satellite thru 11 AM:
HRRR 3-km shows the expected radar through today and into early Saturday morning. High pressure is building in behind the low pressure system that has been bringing us so much rain. The showers from this morning have moved out, and clouds should break up into the afternoon and evening hours. Winds will continue to die down too.

Showers continue to move across much of Middle Tennessee. Scattered showers will likely hang around into the evening hours, so have the rain boots and umbrella handy!
We woke up to rain in northern Davidson County, with only a little rain for the rest of us. Most of the rain has been moving NW of us. Models remain inconsistent, but we think, eventually, the rain will shift south and east through both our counties as a cold front approaches from the northwest, but before that happens we may see a break this afternoon. The front will then stall overhead tonight, sending us several rounds of rain overnight into Thursday. Thus rain chances will increase tonight and continue into Thursday. High Today: 69º. Early Tomorrow: 59º.
A windy day with mild temperatures is in store for us with a cold front approaching from the northwest. Nashville will stay dry and mostly cloudy with a high temperature of 68º. Winds will be sustained between 15-20 mph, with gusts to 30 mph.
Waking up to a few peeks of the sky this morning! Don’t get used to it though, we are looking at a cloudy and rainy pattern all week.
Conditions will deteriorate today as a chance of showers are introduced to the forecast after lunchtime. Williamson and Davidson Counties are looking at a high temperature this afternoon of around 61º. The winds will also be noticeable today as they will be sustained between 10-15 mph, gusts to 25 mph.
