The rain is outta here! Weak high pressure has taken the reigns of our weather and will keep us dry for the remainder of the day as temperatures soar into the middle 70ºs and dew points stay in the 50º. The only issue outside is the pesky yellow stuff that people like to store on their cars!

Clouds will begin to build in overnight with temperatures not falling as much as they have been the past few nights. Our overnight low is expected to sit just below the 50º mark at 49º. Certainly a far cry from the near freezing temperatures we had at the beginning of the week.
We saw some rain this morning and we may not be done. On and off showers are possible across Williamson and Davidson Counties this afternoon as we stay locked in under overcast skies.
You should still expect high temperatures to reach the low to mid-70s prior to sunset. The only type of jacket you may need today is a rain jacket. Overnight low will be in the upper-50s.
Today is shaping up to be another picture-perfect day in Nashville with the greenery beginning to bloom and the yellow-ery collecting on our cars.

Those pesky showers from this morning are almost done. The HRRR model suggests a few more may be possible just before sunset in Williamson and Davidson Counties.
Aside from the rain, expect temperatures this afternoon to make it into the mid to upper 60s across the area, under mostly cloudy skies. Winds will be noticeable today, between 10-15 mph, with gusts to 20. Winds will turn and come out of the north tonight, dropping tonight’s temps quickly through the 50°s and tomorrow morning’s temperatures into the 30°s. Low tomorrow morning (yeah, I know the “app” strip below says Tuesday night) will be 33°.

Yes, today is the first day of Spring. That means Earth’s will be tilted at 0º, therefore everyone will have around 12 hours of sunlight. It also means our daylight is going to get longer, faster.

Spring starting means the average temperatures will continue to rise. Our average high is 62º now, the average low is 40º.
Today a dry cold front is working its way through Nashville. It’ll drop temperatures slightly, but no rain from it.
We are going to be sitting 18º below our average high of 58º today.
Expect an afternoon high of around 40º with a west wind, 5-10 mph. Clear skies will give way to a partly cloudy night across WIlliamson and Davidson Counties. An overnight low of 24º is expected. At least it’s not in the teens!
March 1 may have been the start of meteorological Spring however, Old Man Winter had something to say about that. All of the rain yesterday left cold air in its wake. Temperatures this afternoon are going to struggle to make it to and above freezing.
