Tonight – Thunderstorms? – High 79
I have never seen short range weather models this scattered and inconsistent with each other.
David did a 2:03 video about tonight’s weather, concluding it’s OK to go out: screencast.com/t/YaCzUuuLet

Wednesday – Some Strong Storms Possible – High 88
7am 73 . 10am 81 . 1pm 85 . 4pm 87 . 7pm 84 . 10pm 78
Wind damage, localized flooding and frequent lightning are all possible with any developing storms Wednesday. Thunderstorms should begin to fire in the early afternoon hours, and maybe even before that.
Tonight – Light Rain Breaking Up – High 84
Dew points are still relatively low, but as rain approaches from the west, it will bring with it higher dew points and higher humidity.
Very light rain may arrive (if it holds together) just in time for the commute home tonight. The rain should be gone before midnight. Some fog could develop late tonight after the rain.
Here is the radar though noon:

This is what the HRRR thinks we will see this afternoon and tonight – a weakening rain shower or two with an ETA around dusk:

The Intern will be by later this afternoon with his usual next-few-days forecast.
Tonight – Clear – High 85
The cold front came through this morning, bringing cooler, less humid weather by August standards. It’s hard to believe it’s August 4, and we’ve still yet to see the dog days of summer.
Tonight – Cloudy – High 77
We may still see a few showers forming along a frontal boundary in Kentucky. That boundary is coming our way. It’s currently located in IN & IL, where the cloud cover diminishes:
Tonight – Mostly Sunny – High 86
This time last year, we set a record of 99. We were not even close to that today. No rain tonight, but we may some early tomorrow morning.
Saturday – Scattered Thunderstorms Possible – High 92
First and Foremost, this post is brought to you by the makers of Mountain Dew, the only reason I’m currently seated upright. I’ve been up since 4 a.m., and my rule (which today seems ridiculous) is No Coffee After 2:30 p.m., so in order to function I reached for a Dew (it’s diet, for those of you concerned about me). This is my first soda in several months, and I’m drinking it fully realizing it’s the diet version of 19.25 teaspoons of sugar:
Tonight – Showers Possible – High 81
Yup! The humidity is back… A few more very isolated showers will be moving in this afternoon. May make for a wet commute home.
HRRR model from Wednesday 6 PM – Thursday 3 AM:
First, check out this video of an approaching tornado in Italy yesterday. While you wait for the video to load (it’ll work on your iPhone), scroll down and read the forecast.
I rant about this at the bottom of this post.
