Today – Humid – High 87°
A humid airmass settled over us this afternoon. Just before 3 PM, it looked like this:
It’s so humid, the HRRR thinks it may bubble up a few late afternoon showers. That’s unlikely, but if you do get one bubbling on top of you, do not expect it to rain out any outdoor activities.
I am writing today after taking a thermodynamics test.

Things may get goofy and slightly weird. Bear with me.

(Editor’s Note: we had to clean this post up).

Today – Return Of Clouds & Moisture Late – High 85°

Today Scotland determines its independence from the UK by voting, rather than the traditional way, war. Some argue a vote in favor independence will upset the current world order,

and in case that happens, one day our kilt-wearing grandkids may ask what our day was like when the vote was had, the day before Groundskeeper Willie rose to political power to govern a small, oil-rich nation.

Today’s post will be themed after my all time favorite and the funniest movie of all time.
(Editor’s Note: The Intern 2.0’s ridiculous movie opinion is not shared by Management. For one, Wayne’s World was great, but it’s not the funniest movie of all time. Second, The Intern 2.0’s all time favorite movie is actually Beaches.).

A weak cold front came and went this morning, but there is still some lingering moisture squeezing out a few light showers and this ridiculous drizzle. This guy loves it.

You may briefly wish for an umbrella, but we don’t think anything tonight will get rained out. We’ll hit 77° today.
Today’s post features the one and only Bob Ross.

Now let’s paint today’s forecast.
Overnight / Tuesday Morning – Mostly Cloudy & Slight Chance of Showers – High 80
A cold front will approach overnight. It’ll be weak, and the chances it will produce rain overnight/Tuesday morning are low.
Today – Pleasant – High 78
We will be dry and a few degrees below normal under mostly sunny skies. A perfect day to go watch the Titans whoop up on the Cowboys at LP Field.

(Editor’s Note: Let’s all pretend that’s not Chris Johnson).
Today – Sweater Weather – High 73
If you’ve stepped out the door this morning, you have likely noticed a difference in the air. Although it’s a bit misty, drier air has filtered into Nashville, allowing for temps to cool off. That north breeze this morning was a shock to the system.
Today – Lingering Humidity – High 77
The lackluster cold front, which dropped very minimal rain over Nashville yesterday, is now positioned south of Middle Tennessee. The highest rainfall totals were only a few tenths of an inch. Temps were quick to react to the passage of the cold front, but the humidity will stick with us until Saturday. We will have a very slight chance for showers today into the early evening because of the lingering moisture.
