Sunny Today, Rainy Tomorrow

TodayHumid – High 87°

A humid airmass settled over us this afternoon. Just before 3 PM, it looked like this:

It’s so humid, the HRRR thinks it may bubble up a few late afternoon showers. That’s unlikely, but if you do get one bubbling on top of you, do not expect it to rain out any outdoor activities.

SundayRain – Wake Up 66°, High 84°

A cold front is forecast to move through Nashville during the day on Sunday. The National Weather Service believes that the front will pass through in the afternoon, producing about 0.12″ of rain. The dry air we are seeing Saturday will limit this front’s ability to produce strong storms.

The NWS gives us a “chance” for thunderstorms, but there is no concern about severe weather. The models are arguing about whether this will be a morning or afternoon rain event. I’m guessing it’ll be the morning. Best chance of rain between 10 AM and 1 PM.

Overnight we will be rain free and mostly clear!

MondayPleasant  – Wake Up 55°, High 76°

After the frontal passage we will be cool and dry, under sunny skies!

Pleasant weather will continue into the middle of the week!
