Clouds have arrived! We are going to see more clouds today than previously thought. Here’s what you’ll notice about the temps when you step outside later this afternoon: 55°! SSW winds, which could be a tad gusty, will bring in warmer air that will help us get up into those mid-50s, but the lack of direct sunlight will keep it from feeling quite as glorious. Hey, we’ll take it, for sure! If the clouds do manage to squeeze out a few sprinkles of rain, it will be a negligible amount.
After some flurries this morning, our skies are clearing nicely, however, those temperatures will struggle to rebound over the 40º line.
After a mostly clear day, temperatures will nosedive into the middle 20s again. Winds will be out of the west at around 5 PM, then turning south after midnight.
After a stellar weekend, a weak cold front (Editor’s Note: expertly drawn by Alex) is beginning to drop into Nashville, bring some isolated showers with it for the next several hours. These light showers will progress eastward as the day rolls on; not much in the way of rain is expected. No big deal if you forgot an umbrella or you left it you don’t know where.
Today is the rebound day! The bitter cold is coming to an end (for now…). A high pressure is beginning to build in across middle Tennessee bringing calm weather with it.
It’s influence on Nashville will remain noticeable through the weekend. Temperatures are going to be on the upswing through most of the weekend. These temperatures will be more seasonable for this time of year.
