I hope y’all enjoyed the glowing orb in the sky yesterday because it’s back! A cloud will not be in sight as our temperatures rise into the middle 50s.
We’ve still got a couple of Flood Advisories in effect today as our rivers are still over their banks in some areas. However, all rivers have peaked at this point. You can monitor flood stages of area rivers, streams, and creeks here.
The temperatures think today is opposite day. Instead of warming through the day, temps will be cooling through the day. Why? A cold front passed through during the morning hours.
Drizzle is already showing up on the radar in west Tennessee, moving closer. However, air is super dry aloft, so it’ll take time for rain to hit the ground. Therefore, for most of the afternoon Williamson and Davidson Counties will be rainless and overcast.
Flood Watch: A Flood Watch remains in effect for Davidson County through midday Tuesday.

We are probably all sick of the rain we have had the past several weeks, so get out and enjoy today because more is on the way for the weekend.
For today, though, our weather is being dominated by an area of high pressure off to our south. Clouds are being stubborn today, which will likely keep temps in the 40s.
Today is going to be one of those days where you look outside and think it’s going to snow. Except it’s not. Those overcast skies are not going to budge at all today, and temperatures are staying put with the clouds.
