So, I’m going to break this down by county.
The Winter Weather Advisory is for the northernmost counties in Middle Tennessee. Davidson County is included as part of the second row of those northernmost counties.

It gets dark today at 6:51 PM.
Not that we’ll be able to watch the sun set.
Cloudy for most of the morning. Isolated showers expected around 1 PM today.
1 PM to 4 PM: Around 2 PM or 3 PM, a blob of light to moderate rain, with pockets of heavy rain, should move in.
Usually I take the NAM3 with a grain of salt, but yeah, that’s rain tomorrow afternoon turning to wintry precip/snow late Sunday night into Monday morning.
So here I am listening to Pearl Jam (the official music for March snow chances) looking to make sense of it.
A blanket of clouds currently sits over much of Middle Tennessee. Expect clouds to hang around throughout the day.
We’ve been talking about shower chances for the past few days now and luckily we may stay in the clear today. Showers are currently set up to our south and both the HRRR and NAM3 have them staying there. We still have the outside chance of a scattered shower, but no washout is expected for today.
A southerly breeze will bump temperatures into the middle 50s today, and while some clouds will be passing through, there will be enough sunshine to get us there. It’s Friday! And for some of the kiddos/teachers/college folk out there, Spring Break officially begins today. Road conditions will be most optimal today for heading south. Rain and a few storms will make driving less pleasant on Saturday, detailed below. If you’ll be a beach bum like me, don’t forget the SPF 1,000 sunscreen.
Sunny skies for today with a few passing clouds. While the sunshine will be out in full force, our temps will still be fairly cool with highs in the mid-40s.

Winter reminded us this morning that it is still around! We had low temperatures near freezing in the Nashville metro area and we are not going to rebound much through the day. Significant cloud cover will be present providing little movement in our temperatures, going for a high of 45º.

Flood Advisory
Due to the amount of rain received yesterday and overnight, a flood advisory for the Nashville area is still in effect until further notice.
Hey there! I am Alex Forbes, NashSevereWx’s guest-writer for the day. I am currently a freshman at Mississippi State University and originally hail from the Metro Atlanta area. I’m excited to be around a couple days this week and hope you enjoy the posts.

This is off and on rain that’ll last through the day. Rain should total around 0.06″ to 0.12″, so not much. No flooding concerns.
