Morning rain is sliding out of our area. It used up available storm energy.

Those east of Nashville may see strong/severe storms today, but for us additional afternoon rain and storms appear unlikely. We lack storm fuel and forcing needed for another event. read more

You honor a sacrifice when you stop and remember the man and his sacrifice.

We remember Army Spc. Jason K. Edens.

He was born in Nashville. He graduated from Franklin High School in 2007. After a few semesters in college, he joined the Army then married Ashley.  Assigned to the 1st Squadron, 13th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division at Fort Bliss, Texas, he was deployed to Afghanistan in the fall of 2011. read more

We have a high pressure that is sitting right on top of us.

We anticipate fair weather today with warmer temperatures than we had over the weekend. Our high should reach into the mid 80°s. Cloud cover may increase this afternoon. There was rain out west but models think it’ll dry out before those clouds get here mid-afternoon. read more
