Clouds have continued to increase throughout the day ahead of tonight’s frontal passage. Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms have already developed and are heading our way.
We are expecting these broken showers to arrive between 6 PM to 8 PM. We may see a few thunderstorms in the mix, but they should remain non-severe. Luckily, showers should move quickly and we are not anticipating a complete washout for the evening.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we stay dry the remainder of today, but we still have a small chance of a rain lottery type of evening ahead.
More clouds and muggier tomorrow thanks to increasing moisture and dew point temps. Highs will be in the upper 80s with showers possible in the afternoon. Severe weather is not expected at this time.
Another bonus for today is that we should stay rain-free. If you have evening plans tonight, temps will drop through the 70s and into the upper 60s overnight.
Just like that, an influx of moisture will begin to bring those shower chances back into discussion starting tomorrow.
The cold front creating today’s showers continues to push south, leaving us with somewhat cooler temps for now. Our temps and dew point temps will continue to drop this evening and into tomorrow morning before we feel the full on relief. It’s coming folks.
Thursday daytime appears to be pretty similar to the past few days with highs in the 90s and dew point temps in the 70s. Heat index values will once again be in the 100° to 105° range, so it will be another hot day. The majority of the day will consist of sunny skies.
