Sunny skies and temps on the rise now through the weekend. Tomorrow, dew point temps will still remain in the semi-comfortable upper 50s.
Whether you are planning on heading downtown this weekend for CMA Fest or to watch the Preds on Sunday night, looks like a fantastic weekend to be in Nashville!
For those planning to head out on the first day of things, it will be a lot cooler than it typically is. The high on Thursday will be in the mid-70s with dew point temps in a very comfortable mid-50s.
As we head into Friday and the weekend, things will begin to warm back up. Highs will reach into the low 80s on Friday, mid 80s Saturday, and upper 80s Sunday. Things may also begin to feel a fit stickier with dew point temps gliding back into the upper 50s to low 60s.
Off and on showers will continue throughout the remainder of the day. Luckily, we are not expecting a washout with any showers we see.

The semi-bad news for this evening is that it appears the rain could very well stick around into the evening hours. If you have plans to be outside tonight (a.k.a. going downtown to watch the Preds game), bring the rain gear if you do not want to get wet.
To quote our local NWS:
“Warm and humid. Those are the two words of the day.”
Lucky, we have remained shower-free this far. There is still a small chance that a shower could develop given the amount of moisture present, but since none have developed so far, that chance is very small. If a shower does develop, it should quickly diminish in the early evening.
For the remainder of our Friday, expect for calm conditions with clouds increasing as we move through the evening.

Several rounds of showers and possibly severe weather can be expected for this weekend. If you have outdoor plans this weekend, have a rain plan in place and continue to keep an eye on the weather.
Good news, the bulk of the showers have moved through and will continue to move to the east.
The iffy news is that we still have a chance of showers through the remainder of the evening. While we shouldn’t see a lot more, we still could see a rogue shower or two.
So far, so good today. Clouds have continued to increase throughout the afternoon, but so far we have had a nice dry day. Expect for clouds to continue to increase as we head into the evening hours. You may want to bring a light jacket with you tonight if you have any outdoor plans as temps will fall into the 60s by 8 PM.
