A strong cold front arrives today, bringing gusty winds (15mph – 25mph with gusts of 25mph – 30mph), the coldest temps of the season, and a small chance of rain mostly before dark.

Nashville International Airport (BNA) picked up 0.81″ of rain, putting our official total this month at 8.41″. Most places saw between 0.75″ and 1″ from the showers and a few thunderstorms that moved through last night.

Showers and thunderstorms are being pushed into Middle Tennessee by a cold front today. The NAM’s Simulated Radar shows a line of showers and thunderstorms nearing Nashville at 1 PM, but current radar trends suggest light rain may begin before then.
