We are clouding up, but we don’t think we will see rain until after midnight, as rain approaching from Arkansas breaks up a bit, but still kicks off a rainy weekend:

Another warm day is in store for us with high temperatures reaching the low 80s around the area. There will be a some clouds in the area with dew points in the upper 50s.
A surface cold front to the west will be moving our direction this afternoon.

We’ll be cooling off nicely by this evening.
Skies will remain mostly clear overnight, with lows dropping to the low 50°s.
By tomorrow, we’ll be keeping a close eye on the system to our west that’s dropping a whole lot of rain in Texas today. As that system slowly starts to move east Friday, our rain chances will start to slowly rise.
