We saw beautiful weather this morning for the marathon, and if you ran in it, I applaud you, that takes a lot. Temperatures will climb their way up to 72º this afternoon. We should stay dry for the remainder of today, but clouds will build as we progress into the afternoon, leaving us with mostly cloudy skies by dinner time. Winds will be out of the South at 10-15mph. We are only going to drop into the upper 50s for the low tonight, with a small chance of a stray shower after midnight.
The early morning rain has cleared and we are going to stay dry the rest of the day today and into this evening. We’ve got a pleasant afternoon ahead of us with partly cloudy skies in the afternoon and a high of 71º. It’ll be a bit breezy out there today as well, with winds picking up to 15mph, and gusts potentially reaching 25mph. Once the second round of the draft starts tonight, we’ll be near 70º, with temperatures decreasing as the night goes on, down to our overnight low of 46º.
Overall, the chance for rain has been cut back just a little. However, there is still a chance for some showers and maybe even a thunderstorm.
Below, the HRRR model shows rain moving into the area around 1pm and then scattered showers for the rest of the afternoon and evening.
Today we can expect to see mostly sunny skies with a high of 83°.
There is the chance for a shower or two, though they are more likely to pop up in the late afternoon/early evening hours. The HRRR doesn’t show any showers here, but a front boundary (responsible for the potential shower or two) could drop close to the TN/KY state line. I would carry an umbrella just to be on the safe side. Tonight, lows drop to around 61°.
After a pleasant and warm afternoon, tonight will remain on the mild side with a low near 58.
Clouds will be increasing as a frontal boundary slowly drops in from the north. This may bring an isolated afternoon shower to the region, although it remains uncertain as the models have been showing two different pictures. The latest NAM3 says we don’t get anything:

Tuesday looks similar with a high of 81°. We could see a few more clouds, but it should still be mostly sunny. Winds will still hang around 5-10 MPH.
Right now it is 43° and mostly cloudy around our area. You can thank the recent cold front for the unseasonably cool weather. There is a chance of rain and showers this morning and into this evening, though this rain will be light and precipitation amounts will be meager (less than a tenth of an inch).
Scattered showers dominate the area throughout the day, some being heavy at times. Believe it or not our high temp was 61º and midnight. By sunrise we had already fallen to a temp of 51º and we’re going to keep getting cooler all day.
