Rest of Today and Round 2 of the NFL Draft
The early morning rain has cleared and we are going to stay dry the rest of the day today and into this evening. We’ve got a pleasant afternoon ahead of us with partly cloudy skies in the afternoon and a high of 71º. It’ll be a bit breezy out there today as well, with winds picking up to 15mph, and gusts potentially reaching 25mph. Once the second round of the draft starts tonight, we’ll be near 70º, with temperatures decreasing as the night goes on, down to our overnight low of 46º.

Saturday (Marathon Day) and Sunday
Saturday is looking like a great day for the marathon! At 7am the temperature will be a chilly 48º, but will quickly increase by the afternoon, climbing up to 74º for our high with mostly sunny skies! Winds will be much calmer than today, staying at 5-10mph.
Sunny skies may end briefly as a weak rain system tries to streak through late Saturday afternoon into the early evening. Euro thinks the system will be dry but the NAM3 model does not:
Unlikely to cause rainouts or lightning concerns.
Saturday night looks to remain clear and calm, the low sitting at 57º. As we move into the early morning hours of Sunday, a small batch of showers moves into Middle Tennessee. The NAM3 model has the ETA of the showers between 3am-7am, but it will be light so not much of an impact. Here’s the NAM3, showing these light showers quickly moving in and out of the area overnight:
By Sunday morning we’re looking clear as clouds push out of the region, leaving us with mostly sunny skies and warming up to around 71º. The low will be in the mid 50s overnight.
Start of the Work Week
The beginning of the workweek is showing to be much warmer, topping out near 82º on Monday with partly cloudy skies and up to 84º on Tuesday as we hold on to those sunny skies. Rain chances begin to gradually increase by mid to late week, still, lots of uncertainty as of now.
We’ve got a great weekend of beautiful weather ahead of us! Check back for updates!
