Our high temperature Sunday will come earlier than normal. We will reach the upper 50’s/60º by about noon, and then it’s all downhill from there.
You’ll feel the cold front coming through with winds gusting up to 28 MPH this afternoon, calming tonight.

Satellite this morning looks like a thick layer of frosting is covering pretty much the entire Southeast and Midwest.

Could that really be a *cold front* coming our way?
We have to endure some showers and thunderstorms before we can reap the cold front’s temperature benefits. Today will probably not be a good day for all the thunder-and-rain-fearing dogs out there.
Some clouds are hanging out over us this morning. They should begin to make their way out this afternoon.
Dew points will return to the 60’s today. Not a miserable humidity level, but certainly not pleasant for October!
Lucky for us, no rain today. Just sun!

Delta is now a post-tropical cyclone. Its center is located to our southwest this morning.
Delta’s remnants produced light showers this morning. According to the HRRR model, they should clear the area around noon.
The beautiful weather persists for a few more days! An upper ridge is building along the Gulf Coast ahead of Hurricane Delta which will cause our temperatures to continue to warm. High temperatures should top off in the upper 70’s today.

This morning, there was a chill in the air. Temperatures started off in the 40’s but will gradually heat up to around 70º by this afternoon.
The satellite imagery from this morning shows no clouds over Middle Tennessee.
Lots of showers across Middle Tennessee today as a cold front moves our way. Washout conditions will prevail this morning. The HRRR agrees with this opinion:
The rain should clear the area by late afternoon, around 4pm.
The clouds will gradually clear up throughout the day today. The HRRR shows rain staying off to our east. A few popup showers may appear, but they will likely stay out of Williamson/Davidson.
Over the next day or so, the lingering moisture from Beta will also push off to the east. Make way for clearing skies and warming temperatures!
