Today, due to the extensive cloud cover and scattered showers we only reached high of 54 °.
A chance for some scattered showers will be the story for the remainder of the day and into this evening. The majority of the rain moves in overnight tonight and into Saturday afternoon. The latest HRRR model has it moving in around 3AM-6AM:

We’re staying dry, but it’s still going to be pretty chilly out there tonight. We’ll drop to 25°. Brrr…
The good news is that the weekend will be warmer.
Saturday will be up to 54° and Sunday even warmer up into the mid 60s. We’ll steer clear of rain for the weekend and stick with the sun, so any plans will be in great shape!

Rain starts sometime during the Thursday morning rush hour.
Then it lingers through Thursday evening.
After midnight Thursday into Friday morning snowflakes may mix in.
The storms that formed west of us have fizzled almost completely. This was expected to occur. However, the main front is still back to the west and could set off additional showers and thunderstorms as the day goes on. Instability (storm food) will be weak, so we’re not too worried about severe weather.
