Good morning Nashville! An unsettled weather pattern looks to continue thru at least the afternoon hours on Friday. For today though, not expecting any rain until the late evening hours, after a high of 68º for the day.
Good morning Nashville! Low pressure is going to move across the state of Tennessee today. This morning, it was centered in the Memphis area and will move east as the day progresses. You can see it in the HRRR 3km simulated radar this morning; it is able to be depicted by the center of rotation of the showers today. All in all, looking at on and off rain for Williamson and Davidson Counties this morning. High of 68º expected today. A thunderstorm or two is not ruled out.
Finally! Morning temperatures in the mid to upper 50s!
The high this afternoon will be 76º. Winds 15-20 mph, gusting at times to 35 MPH before the front arrives.
We are expecting a cold front tonight, giving us a chance for a brief shower sometime between 6-10 PM. There will be plenty of dry air, so any rain we see will be light; rainouts will be unlikely. Many of us may not even see rain, but before drawing conclusions let’s wait until this afternoon and check the actual radar to see how much rain we may get, rather than rely only on model data. I would not alter any outdoor plans right now.
Good morning Nashville! We are entering a period of somewhat quiet weather after snow flurries in Williamson and Davidson Counties this morning.
Temperatures ended up staying a couple of degrees above freezing this morning, however that is not a guarantee for tomorrow morning. Right now, the forecast is for 35º, only three degrees off of the freezing mark. Therefore, the National Weather Service has kept a Freeze Warning active for tomorrow morning, 2 AM to 8 AM.
Good morning Nashville! Another fairly warm day is in store for the city as the high temperature is expected to reach 83º by this afternoon! The wind will noticeably pick up to around 15-20 mph, with gusts to 35 mph.
We are finally on an uphill swing in terms of the temperatures! Looking at a high of 68, with a few clouds in the area, today. An area of high pressure is providing this calm weather through late Friday. On Thursday and Friday, we will make it into the upper 70s for highs.
We have finally hit a dry spell that will last for more than just 2-3 days! This time, we are going to be dry for the work/school week!
Our temperatures, however, are going to be on a roller coaster.
Around 2 PM to 3 PM this afternoon, rain should be pushing into Williamson County and heading north into Nashville.
Rain should last until around midnight, then switch off.

Good morning Nashville! The cold front arrived last night, dropping our temperatures into the lower 40s. Expecting a high of 52º with light winds out of the northwest at 10-15 mph.
Looking at temperatures near freezing overnight and early Thursday morning, so be sure to cover any vulnerable plants and bring your pets inside!
