Clouds will be increasing through the remainder of the afternoon as we head into the evening hours. Temps will stay fairly warm and we will still have that frizzy-hair worthy humidity through the night.

*Update: Air quality is not going to be good tomorrow. We have been placed under an air quality alert stating:
“A code orange air quality alert for ozone has been issued. Ground level ozone concentrations within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards. The general public is not likely to be affected. Active children and adults, and people with respiratory disease such as asthma, should limit prolonged outdoor exertion.”

The only thing keeping temps down is a nice north wind, thanks to some low pressure off to our east:
Our nice north wind leaves as a Bermuda High sets up. Here come south winds, which means more humidity, more heat. But, no rain.

High pressure and low humidity means the sunshine will be feeling good today.
Winds will blow from the south, delivering humidity, and with that, clouds. Rain chances creep in late Tuesday night, but we think rain chances won’t arrive until Wednesday.

Update: Clouds are still trying (but being a bit stubborn) to clear out. We expect that clearing trend to continue with overnight temperatures in the low to mid 50s. A perfect night overall!

Well that was a whole lot of rain today. Many places saw over an inch of rain as expected.
Heading into tonight, rain should continue to clear out. This should leave us rain free.

Clouds will gradually work in through the ahead of our next *heavy* rain maker. Temperatures will bottom out in the middle 50s overnight.
Update: No rain should be in our area until after midnight.

Temps will drop a little, only into the lower 50s overnight.

Update: Showers have tapered off this afternoon. A few more are possible, but not likely, later this evening.
