Current Radar
Tonight – Rain Chances Increase – Temps in Mid-50s
Time to start watching the radar. We have some showers currently moving in from the Southeast. For guidance on timing, follow us on Twitter @NashSevereWx for more up to date information.
Most of the models show us getting fairly wet through the night. Rain won’t be heavy so flooding shouldn’t be an issue, but showers could stick around for a while (none of that brief stuff it’s appearing). We may get a rumble or two of thunder, but probably just a rain-only event.
For some guidance on what the rain may look like passing through, reference the most current HRRR run. Exact timing of when the showers will move in and leave is still hard to tell:
I’d pack a light jacket or an umbrella for any outdoor plans tonight.
Tuesday: Rain Chances Throughout the Day – Wake Up 56° High 77°
Tomorrow looks to be a hit or miss kind of day. Temps will rebound back to near average tomorrow reaching back into the upper 70s.
The majority of the day will be cloudy with the occasional shower possible. Best timing for showers seems to be in the morning and in the evening. Most models show us in the clear of rain in the afternoon. However, that could very easily change by tomorrow with the nature of these showers.
AM commute could get a big hairy, recent runs of the NAM 4 has scattered showers a little before rush hour:
Chances of rain remain throughout the rest of the day, most models are trending that we will see another round of showers in the evening though. Late tomorrow evening, best chances of rain are along the Kentucky border, but some showers could extend down into our area:
Not expecting anything severe with any of the showers we may see.
Rest of the Week: Unsettled Outlook Ahead
Still have that very slight chance of rain on Wednesday. Areas to our South and East have a better chance of seeing these showers, but we could see a brief shower in the AM hours.
Thursday looks to be clear of any rain.
Chances of showers Thursday night into Friday. Pretty high chance of rain on Friday; doesn’t look to be severe but could see a lot of rain heading into the weekend.
Still a lot of time before we reach the weekend, but generally speaking, the weekend trend seems to be wet.
Allergy Report: Little Sniffles Till Mid-Week
We will return to medium pollen levels by Thursday, but until then we will only have low-medium pollen levels.
