Wednesday and Thursday look to be sunny days with highs in the mid to upper 60s before our next rain system comes in Thursday night into Friday.

Rain chances will be with us beginning tonight and will close sometime Thursday. To our west, we will be watching a pretty stout line of storms push our direction. We think this line of storms will be weakening as it approaches.

Tuesday will be similar, a bit warmer, with highs around 77°.
Tuesday night, our next system will swing in bringing a chance for rain and thunderstorms. The window for rain opens Tuesday late afternoon and closes Thursday morning.
Plenty of sunshine. Northwest winds are gusty (gusting to 22 mph as of 11:00 am), but it still feels nice outside, high of 70°. Enjoy that!
One side note from NWS, however:
There are some gusty winds behind the front and this could cause a marginal fire danger. Will keep an eye on this.
The sun is back! A light northerly breeze won’t be able to keep temperatures from rising to near 70° today.
We get to continue enjoying near perfect weather! The sun stays around for Tuesday and Wednesday with highs reaching 69° both days. No definite danger of a frost or freeze early in the week, although lows in Nashville could reach 41° early Wednesday morning as a very weak front drops low temps a bit. If there’s any night to watch, that would be it, as outlying areas are always a bit cooler than in town.
After our noisy, gusty system (gusts to 36 mph at BNA overnight) exits to the NE, we’re left on the cool side. Stiff NW winds will keep us in the 50s for highs today. No rain is expected.
Clouds will hang around for a while, but a clearing line is slowly making its way our direction from the NW.
Today, after a chilly morning, the sun will warm us up to 57° as north winds attempt to keep things relatively cool.
The main story is a gradual increase in temperatures under a mix of clouds and sun. No rain in expected until this weekend. More on that in a bit.
Our early morning round of rain dropped about a half inch of rain across our counties leaving us with a soggy feel to the day. At the time of this writing, another round of mainly light rain is incoming from the west. HRRR thinks this will be the last blob of the day with mainly scattered showers after that. HRRR through 1:00 a.m.:
The Storm Prediction Center has issued a tornado watch that includes both counties, Davidson and Williamson until 4:00 a.m.
These are the probabilities of “x” happening anywhere in the tornado watch area. There is a 50% chance of 2 or more tornadoes in the watch area and a 30% chance of 1 or more strong tornadoes. See the table below for more info.
The tornado watch originally set to expire at 10:00 p.m. was canceled early as the line of storms has moved east. We have been watching a warm front to our south all day to see if it would move far enough north to send severe storm food up into our two counties. The front just couldn’t get far enough north to accomplish this, and to that, we say…”fine with us.”
