Update: CAPE (storm food) has increased across our area this afternoon ahead of a weak front that is approaching middle TN. However, limited moisture is keeping shower/storm development minimal and isolated. The HRRR model projects this continues until about 8PM, and then our rain chances drastically drop off:

Great night across the board for those wanting to start the weekend early. For those heading out to catch the Sounds game tonight, temps should stick in the low 80s to upper 70s in the early evening before dipping into the 60s after midnight.

Another great day in store for us on Thursday. Sunny skies will prevail just like Wednesday. Only difference will be that our temps will be a little bit warmer than on Wednesday. Dew points will stay in the upper 50s providing us with nice conditions outside.

This afternoon, we noticed a political RT from @NashSevereWx. We did not send it. It was a RT from an account we do not follow and none of us, individually, follow. It was immediately deleted.
There’s a weak trough at the surface sliding eastward this afternoon. It will approach our area later this evening, bringing a spark for a few showers/storms to develop. Not everyone gets wet, but we can all expect temperatures in the mid 80s.

Later tonight looks good from the weather department — temperatures will fall through the 80s under mostly clear skies. Any pesky afternoon shower should have moved on or dissipated by sunset.

Our atmosphere has remained capped off this afternoon, not letting any afternoon pop-up showers occur so far. Chance of showers developing is still there, but looks very unlikely given our current atmosphere.
