Strong southerly winds are calming down as the Wind Advisory becomes a memory. Overnight, we officially had a 44 MPH wind gust.
As you can see from the above radar, and the below satellite image, the rain is almost over and the clouds aren’t too far away from clearing out.

A complex of showers will be moving eastward into our neck of woods today all due to a shortwave moving ahead of a strong upper level low.

Severe weather is brewing out west Monday. The Storm Prediction Center already has an Enhanced risk area in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. It’s even “hatched” — the shaded part — which indicates a potentially significant severe event.
