Tonight…Light Rain?
Probably not. A weak rain blob will pass north of us tonight/overnight. The HRRR model thinks the southern edge of it might reach into Nashville, but that seems pretty unlikely.

Lots to like in the weather pattern so far this week.

We’ll definitely be feeling the chill to end the week tomorrow.

So it is the first week of December… It is time for some quick November facts! Turns out November is the 5th warmest on record for Nashville this year. The average was 55.7°, which is almost 6° above normal! November in 1923 still holds first place for the warmest November so far.
Current Radar
By dinnertime, temperatures will fall to the low 50°s.
Skies will stay cloudy overnight.
As temperatures drop into the 40°s by about 8 or 9 PM, some patchy fog will start to develop.
This will last through your drive tomorrow morning, so just take it easy.
Current Radar
More rain is here. It’ll stick around at least through the overnight hours.
HRRR does a good job of illustrating the off/on nature (mostly “on”) of the rain tonight.

Current Radar
Today – Rain This Afternoon High: 61°
It is the perfect day to stay home and just shop online for Cyber Monday.

It is pretty dreary out there today, with temperatures reaching the low 60s under an overcast sky.
Current Radar
As you see from the above radar, the rain is here, and should remain through the evening.
Here’s the HRRR model through Monday morning:

We expect a break in the rain Monday morning, but by the afternoon, rain chances go back up.
Current Radar
When we look out west, there’s a pretty big break in the rain.

There’s plenty more rain coming over the next few days. The immediate question is: what about this afternoon?
