Very isolated, hit and miss showers/thunderstorms are possible late tonight. Don’t bet on them, though. Expect lows in the upper 60s, and winds out of the north at 5 mph.

Every model gives Middle Tennessee some rain, but it appears most of it is in Southern Middle Tennessee. If you believe the GFS model, then it’s possible we’ll get in our softball game tonight. If you believe the European model, don’t even wash your uniform. read more

Pleasant morning ahead: 63, gradually warming to 83. Does not get much better than this in mid-June. The cherry on top is a slight breeze we’ll have all day. As The Intern, I’ll be allowed 25 minutes to drink sweet tea by the pool. Then I have to wax Will’s Jeep again. read more

Today, heat indices reached 100+. The last time it was this hot it was August 8, 2012, which was 308 days ago.  Still going to be a VERY warm evening, at midnight 80 is the forecast temp.  Almost unbearable outside and no rain relief tonight. read more
