Upper level low pressure is pushing rain into Middle Tennessee. Check out the current radar above, or below:
This rain will probably mix with sleet/flakes. The upper low is bringing its own supercold temps, and making the ice. No worries, though, it’s way too warm at the surface to cause travel problems.

As I write this, scattered rain showers stretch from Bowling Green to McMinnville. These specific showers aren’t moving our way and I don’t think they will impact us.
But, if you look further north, you see the larger picture – an upper level low pressure system – dropping a rain/snow mix across southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and SE Missouri. Check out the current radar above, or below:

A little weather trickery today as the sun came out a good bit! Overcast conditions will take hold, however, for the remainder of today.
Temperatures will fall through the evening, and more showers return late tonight, continuing into your Sunday. The HRRR says these shenanigans could start around midnight.
