Work Week Ends Dry, Wet Weekend Ahead

High Pressure and a Cold Front

my-forecast-google-chrome-2016-12-14-07-32-47

The next few days will be rain-free and particularly chilly from tonight through Friday morning.

We currently have a series of high pressures set up to our west, as shown below.

High pressures have a clockwise circulation around them, so since they are to our west, these high pressures are causing for our winds to be from the North and thus bringing in cooler air. read more

The Cold Air is Here

my-forecast-google-chrome-2016-12-08-16-38-45

The day has finally come that we have been talking about for quite some time now, our first dose of winter-like weather.

Keep in mind over the next couple of days, we will see some calm winds of about 5-10 mph. While this doesn’t seem like much, this wind will add in wind chill. Expect for it to feel even colder than those high temperatures (the wind chill isn’t forecast to go above 32° tomorrow and this is what it is going to feel like). read more

Back to Sunny Skies

my-forecast-google-chrome-2016-11-30-15-03-47

After what has been a very busy weather week thus far, we look to end the remainder of the work week with nothing but clear skies.

Showers and thunderstorms from last night continue to move off to the east. The cold front has passed through our area. Some scattered showers were trying to follow behind it earlier today, but those have since dwindled out. Partly cloudy skies through the remainder of our Wednesday. Behind this aforementioned cold front, we can expect to see cooler temperatures overnight and through the rest of the week. read more
