A (shortwave) disturbance is quickly advancing towards Middle Tennessee from the Great Plains. The National Weather Service has its ETA at or just after 1 PM. The HRRR is also putting the showers and thunderstorms in Nashville around noon. read more

This morning, light rain was working itself into Middle TN from the SW. The heaviest rain will pass to our West, but we should still see a few light showers before noon. Morning activities shouldn’t be ruined. As of 9 AM, I didn’t see any lightning in the approaching morning showers. read more
