Spring officially begins at 4:24pm and it will feel like anything but spring today. BNA got down to 16° last night. Are we sure it’s supposed to be spring?

Tonight we’ll freeze again, but not so bad, official low is “only” 31°, although rural places will probably get into the upper 20’s. Last night below freezing for at least the next week. Not Much News Is Good News?

Really not much to cover here. Temps around average, some rain chances. No severe weather. Boring weather is good weather though?

Anyway, some rain chances come in around lunch, maybe sooner. There’s some pretty dry air sitting above the surface, so it may take a while for the rain to actually make it to the ground. A rain jacket or umbrella, and it’ll not be bothersome. Should clear out for evening plans/SEC tourney goers. read more

Beware of False Spring, Rain + Cooler Temps Returns Wednesday

It’s March, temps have been/are in the 70’s, even pushing 80° today, could it be…an early arrival of Spring??

Veterans will know this happens pretty much every year, around the same time. False Spring. And then a blast of cooler temps likes to come smack you in the face to remind you, that just because it is meteorological spring, does not mean it is astronomical spring. read more
