Lower rain chances today, but they aren’t zero either.
Scattered shower, maybe a storm, can’t be completely ruled out this afternoon or evening. Most of us will probably stay dry though, sorry to the crunchy grass.

Scattered showers and storms will remain in the forecast over the next several days – nothing too noteworthy though.
Looking at today [Tuesday], some showers have already affected southern WillCo., and more showers and storms will be possible throughout this evening.
Not too bad of a Labor Day forecast.
A bit warm and muggy, with high temps in the upper 80s, dewpoints in the low 60s – it could always be worse.
We could see a few showers and storms around the area this afternoon and evening. Wattery (rain lottery) style, so impossible to know exactly when and where these might pop up.
Low to medium daily rain chances get introduced starting Monday, and stick with us thru Thursday.
Chances will peak each day during the afternoon but won’t be surprised if we see one or two rainy mornings. Not a bad idea to keep the umbrella handy this week.
Right around average to slightly above average temps will be with us throughout the Labor Day weekend. Dewpoints will still be in the 50s – so not too bad. Good enough to watch some football.
Cooler temps say…
Over the next few days, we’ll deal with high temperatures running slightly above average. Dewpoints will be in the low to mid 50s, so it will still be fairly tolerable.

Below average temps return by the middle of next week – they just can’t stay away. Almost like they know it’s football season.
Our high temperatures make a return to the mid to upper 80s starting today – even maybe touching 90° Friday and Saturday. These temperatures are disqualified for ‘False Fall’, but dewpoints will still only be in the upper 50s, pretty comfortable really – especially for late August standards.

BNA got all the way down to 55° this morning, dewpoints are in the upper 40s – uncommon for late August. Nearly brings a tear [of joy] to my eye.
Today and Thursday will be our last two days of true False Fall before average temps return.

BNA got down to 57° this morning. Not record breaking, but still quite cool for a late August morning.
Starbucks also released their Fall line of drinks today. Coincidence? IDK. Drinking a pumpkin flavored drink in August is questionable in my book, or at any point in the year. Did I type that out while drinking black coffee? Yes.
BNA reported a low of 59° this morning, a temperature we haven’t seen in three months.
You may have thrown on a light jacket on your way out the door this morning, maybe even thinking about how Fall might have arrived early this year.
