Yesterday, rain chances were zero across the board over the next 7 days.
The atmosphere always likes to keep us on our toes though.
We could see a few showers Sunday throughout the day, even lingering into Monday. This is far from any guarantee. The HRRR model (shown below) likes our chances – but other models like the GFS and Euro think we stay dry. For the sake of the Titans game, I hope we stay dry – but I know we could use the rain.
A few places made the most of the 15% rain chances yesterday, some got none. Highest rainfall total from yesterday is 0.79″ from the Oak Hill area. BNA got 0.03″ in the bucket.
No additional rain is expected over the next 7 days.
Low (~15%) chance of a quick shower this afternoon/evening, a rumble of thunder not totally out of the question. Most of us will stay dry.

Above-average temps will be the theme over at least the next week. Our average high temps is 83-84°, and temps will get a good bit above that. By the beginning of next week, we’ll be 10°+ above average.

We have a very low-end chance for damaging straight-line winds today and Friday. It’s really not much, but let’s go day-by-day.
The Storm Prediction Center has outlooked most of our two counties with a 5% chance of damaging straight-line winds within 25 miles today. Tornadoes are not expected.
