Our clear skies from today have already begun to transition into cloudy skies. As we make our way through the evening, expect for a clouds to continue to move in ahead of tomorrow’s rain.

North winds and clearing skies = big time cool down.
A boring weather pattern will be (yawn) interrupted by some rain late Tuesday night.
No severe weather or other shenanigans expected.
No rain is expected; but remember, next weekend is too far away to make any promises.
A Cold Front Arrives Today
Upper 60°s, clouds, humidity, and a small chance of a light sprinkle will linger this morning. All this will end this afternoon thanks to a cold front. You’ll know when the cold front is here when rain picks up and/or the wind starts blowing steady and chilly from the north. After that happens, the rain chance is over. We don’t expect rain after lunch.
Better chances for showers arise later this evening into Sunday morning as a cold front approaches the area. High-resolution models depict this fairly well:
Behind any rain tomorrow morning, winds will become gusty out of the north-northwest (as high as 25mph). Temperatures Sunday will also be falling out of the morning 60s and into the 50s by dinnertime.
Just like that our temps have jumped back into the 60s and are here to stay for the next few days. Mostly clear skies expected for tonight. Continuing into tonight is our main story line of our gusty winds.
If you’re not a fan of the cold temps and have gotten used to a short-sleeves style winter, by tomorrow, you’ll be back to the summer wardrobe.
Southerly winds will begin overnight tonight. However, low temperatures tomorrow morning will still be below freezing. It won’t be until the afternoon on Friday that we feel the effects of southerly flow.

Generally speaking, we could start to see showers as early as sunrise. Models have continued to trend at a morning arrival for the “severe” stuff.
NAM 4 (from 9 PM tonight through 9 PM Tuesday night) thinks tomorrow the heavier rain will pass through in the AM, with some straggling showers through the rest of the day.
