Warming Up w/ Rain This Weekend

More Warmth Ahead!

If you’re not a fan of the cold temps and have gotten used to a short-sleeves style winter, by tomorrow, you’ll be back to the summer wardrobe.

Southerly winds will begin overnight tonight. However, low temperatures tomorrow morning will still be below freezing. It won’t be until the afternoon on Friday that we feel the effects of southerly flow.

GFS Loop Through Tuesday

A rainy set up will begin to take shape on Saturday, continuing through the middle of next week. There are some disagreements between forecast models, particularly the European and GFS. Right now it appears the best chance for rain and a few storms will exist on Sunday as a cold front pushes through.

No severe weather is anticipated right now, but we will be monitoring things closely.

Will Sunday’s front cool down temperatures again?

Yes, by about 10-15°…so not horrible. High temps will hover in the middle 50s through Wednesday.

Late next week, there’s some chatter about a shot at wintry precip. Unfortunately with as many model disagreements that are in place right now, just with our next couple of systems alone, it is too far out to tell if anything of the like will come to fruition. We’ll stay on top of it, though.
