Anyone else look like this getting out the shower this morning?
I’m cheap and have not turned the heat on. I’m a poor college student. It’s how we survive…

Just to help put in perspective of how cold it is…Louisville, KY is experiencing some very wet snowflakes falling around 3 this afternoon!
For the independently wealthy, it’s still not too late to drop everything and take that vacation in the Bahamas. You may really consider it when I tell you the forecast low is 29 degrees with a wind chill of 27.
Rest of Tonight – High 55, Low 37
It would be a good time to go on that last minute tropical get away.
Tonight, expect much-cooler temps. Overnight lows will be in the 30s.
Winds will calm down a bit as the evening progresses.

By the end of this week, you won’t need this breathspray to feel Canadian.
Rest of Tonight – High 60, Low 42
This morning we picked up 0.11″ of rain officially at the airport.
Tonight, another cold front will be sweeping through. We may get a brief shower as the front arrives. Here’s the HRRR at 1 a.m.:
Tonight/Overnight – Rain Approaching
Rain looks like it will hold off until we’re asleep. By 4 a.m. Tuesday, it’ll start slowly dragging through middle Tennessee, and may linger into the morning commute:
Summary
At 12:49 p.m. today, our National Weather Service office issued the following Special Weather Statement:
This week, a series of cold fronts will come through from the NW. Usually, a front passage brings rain, but these will be “moisture starved.” If we get rain, it’ll be very little.
Frost Advisory Sunday Morning 3 a.m. to 7 a.m.
Cold, dry air is pouring into Middle Tennessee:
Here’s the text of the Frost Advisory from our NWS:
“Although the coverage of frost is expected to be mainly restricted to low lying and sheltered areas . . . tender vegetation that is left uncovered in those locations could be damaged or killed . . . as temperatures early Sunday morning will fall into the middle 30s.”
Early this morning, scattered rain showers were moving our way from the west:
By 9 a.m., the HRRR thinks these showers will be close:
By 11 a.m.. the model thinks the back edge of the showers will be moving out:
It May Rain Tomorrow – Lo/Hi Temps: 47/64
7 a.m. 48 10 a.m. 56 1 p.m. 62 4 p.m. 63 7 p.m. 56 10 p.m. 48
A weak cold front is approaching. First thought to be dry, now we think it may be wet. Add that to the chillier-than-we’re-used-to temps, and it may be a bit of a dreary Saturday.
