Today – Officially First 90 degree day of 2013
At 3:53 p.m. today, we reached 92. Hope you’re spending time in the air conditioner. Tonight won’t be cooling off too much either: 80 is the forecast temp at 10 PM.
Wall clouds descend from rotating storms. Tornadoes often come out of them. Some wall clouds don’t rotate. Those that do are God’s way of warning you a tornado may be imminent. Here’s a chronological collection of several (but not all) of the photos you all sent in of today’s rotating wall cloud, which set off this afternoon’s tornado warning in Williamson County. We do not have any reports this produced a tornado.
Today – High 88
Still “same old same old.” Hot, humid, sunny, and a little windy. But, things will begin to slowly change after today.
Thursday – High 88
The high pressure system driving these very warm days and dry weather will start to weaken ever so slightly Thursday. NWS has a 20% chance for showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon hours into the evening. Many of you won’t see any rain, just very hit and miss in nature.
