An unsettled pattern moves in Saturday and will be in no rush to leave.
Saturday midday/afternoon looks like the most likely ETA for rain/storms. No severe weather expected for us, those chances are to our west, but can’t rule out a strong storm or two. Having a back-up plan for outdoor activities won’t be a bad idea. Details still a bit fuzzy, check back in for updates.
We can thank a high pressure system for the comfortable weather we’ll have thru Friday. Dry, highs in the low 80s and waking up with temps in the mid to upper 50s. A wonderful way to close the month of May.

Jason was born in Nashville. He graduated from Franklin High School. He met Ashley at ETSU. Then he joined the Army.
Jason and Ashley married and moved to Ft. Bliss. Jason had a boxer, Charlie. He rode motorcycles, played tennis. Jason and Ashley planned a formal wedding after he returned from Afghanistan.
Our “Round One” has just moved through and unfortunately, we are not done with our severe threat for today.
Despite already dealing with some legit storms, our atmosphere is expected to recover and remain primed for all modes of severe weather, with the threat lingering into the overnight hours.
Today we deal with a complex, low probability of a high impact event. A lot of updates to the forecast will be possible today, so staying connected will be important today!
Round One – Now until Afternoon
Not a whole lot going on today, an outside chance of a quick shower/non-severe storm, but the overwhelming majority of us will stay dry today.
All eyes are on Sunday.

Both of our counties (Williamson and Davidson) are under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 7pm, for the possibility of damaging straight-line winds and hail. Another concern today will be flash flooding. If you come across a flooded roadway, turn around – don’t drown. We are not concerned about tornadoes today.

Another 90° day, but thankfully no rain chances to deal with.
Our weather picks up tomorrow, with a low-end chance of severe weather Wednesday evening.
Some showers will be around Wednesday morning, these will be no big deal and should be out of here before lunch.
