Maybe you’ve been sleeping and thinking, “it’s technically not yet Fall.”
Like that guy, we bet you’ll be surprised to read this! Fall is here!
Maybe you’re thinking, “Wait. One. Minute! Fall starts tomorrow!”
Today – Humid – High 87°
A humid airmass settled over us this afternoon. Just before 3 PM, it looked like this:
It’s so humid, the HRRR thinks it may bubble up a few late afternoon showers. That’s unlikely, but if you do get one bubbling on top of you, do not expect it to rain out any outdoor activities.
Today’s post will be themed after my all time favorite and the funniest movie of all time.
(Editor’s Note: The Intern 2.0’s ridiculous movie opinion is not shared by Management. For one, Wayne’s World was great, but it’s not the funniest movie of all time. Second, The Intern 2.0’s all time favorite movie is actually Beaches.).
Today – Lingering Humidity – High 77
The lackluster cold front, which dropped very minimal rain over Nashville yesterday, is now positioned south of Middle Tennessee. The highest rainfall totals were only a few tenths of an inch. Temps were quick to react to the passage of the cold front, but the humidity will stick with us until Saturday. We will have a very slight chance for showers today into the early evening because of the lingering moisture.
Today – Humid & Thunderstorms Late – High 90
As a cold front approaches Middle Tennessee from the northwest, warm & moist air from the Gulf of Mexico is pouring into Middle Tennessee, ratcheting up the humidity. According to the NAM modle, we will have dew points in the 70’s (translation: that’s humid).
