NWS-Nashville has issued a Special Weather Statement out of concern for patchy dense fog from midnight to 8 AM. Low level moisture + light/calm winds + temps and dewpoints close together are to blame. read more

We will see some showers through the day while an upper level shortwave swings over the area and a surface low stationed to the south moves northeast. The bulk of the rain is expected to stay in the eastern parts of Tennessee and northern Georgia. read more
