One last day of rain chances for at least a good bit.
Some scattered showers and storms will be possible this afternoon and evening thanks to a “cold” front moving thru – most of us will probably stay dry.

Today is the last day of our little stretch of low-end flash flood and damaging wind threat.
Timeframe for storms will be this afternoon into the overnight hours. Main focus will be on our threat for isolated flash flooding, then maybe some damaging straight-line winds (5% chance within 25 miles). Regardless, chances for both are low. We are not outlooked with any probabilities for tornadoes.
Activity from last night and this morning has moved out. Pretty much everyone got some healthy rainfall amounts, especially S of I-40.
Big question today will be if we see any additional storms this afternoon and evenings.
Today, Tuesday, and Wednesday all carry a low-end threat for severe weather, with damaging straight-line winds and hail being the main threats. Not really concerned about tornadoes with this.
Monday:
Storm Prediction Center has us outlooked with a 5% chance of damaging straight-line winds within 25 miles today. We are not included in any hail or tornado probabilities.
Some showers and storms possible tonight, but activity should wind down as we get closer to sunset. Follow the socials for all the real-time updates.
High rain/storm chances will stick around Monday thru Thursday.
We’ve gone from no rain chances in the forecast, to now everyday over the next 7 having rain chances.

Fairly low rain chances today. I bet most of us get away with a dry afternoon and evening. Those with outdoor plans should keep an eye on the radar tho – a shower or storm will be possible. Any storm may contain lightning, maybe some small hail.
Another Air Quality Alert in effect for today.
“The general public is not likely to be affected. Active children and adults, and people with a respiratory disease such as Asthma, should limit prolonged outdoor exertion.”
Air Quality Alert is still in effect until midnight tonight.

Some of us got some decent rain yesterday, some saw none – the joys of the Wattery.
A fairly dull forecast is ahead of us for this rest of the week.
No rain chances with us thru Saturday. Low rain chances (~20%) return starting early next week, totals still don’t look all too impressive. With that said, things can change between now and then.
A few showers, maybe a thunderstorm, will be possible this afternoon and evening.
No severe or flooding concerns. We’ll take any rain we can get, but doubtful that everyone will see rain.
HRRR shows coverage being quite isolated. It’s Wattery style, so anyone’s guess who see rain, if anyone does.
